FIRST EDITION, inscribed to Silverberg. A presumably pirated edition of 50 was produced by “Odd-Job Press” which, despite the smaller print run, is more commonly seen.

Inscribed to Ira Silverberg on the verso of the cover, “for Ira | (William S Burroughs).” Hand-numbered by the publisher on the limitation statement, this being number 24 of 500.

Exceedingly rare in the trade: Shoaf notes, “an unusually scarce item which almost never appears on the market,” and indeed only one copy has appeared in the standard auction records in twenty-five years. OCLC locates 24 copies.
